Five Star Painting Helps Restore Historic Utah Home

Teaming Up with Habitat for Humanity of Utah County to Provide for Family in Need

September 29, 2014 // Franchising.com // PROVO, Utah - Five Star Painting is commemorating its 10-year anniversary by participating in a Utah-based community service project in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Utah County. Employees from Five Star Painting’s corporate headquarters will provide interior baseboard and trim painting to help bring the 139-year-old George Taylor Jr. House up to safety standards while preserving its historic integrity. The project coincides with Five Star Cares' National Day of Paint on September 27, 2014.

This 1,800 square-foot, 4-bedroom, 2-bath house will be a welcome upgrade for the Blair family, who will move in once renovations are complete. This family of 7, with children ranging from ages 3 to 13, currently lives in an 800-square-foot, 2-bedroom duplex. Fortunately, their situation is about to improve.

"Five Star Painting incorporates the values of quality, affordability, expertise, and integrity in every project we undertake," said Scott Abbott, CEO of Five Star Painting. "Our company has provided opportunities for entrepreneurs to launch successful businesses capable of transforming the communities they serve."
Through its Five Star Cares initiative, Five Star Painting franchises are encouraged to seek out worthy causes in their communities that make a difference. Beyond revitalizing the surfaces they paint, Five Star Painting hopes to revitalize and brighten the lives of those in need though this initiative.
