New Menchie's Store in Niagara Falls Celebrates Grand Opening with Week of Fun Festivities

Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt Store Fulfills Cravings with Family-Friendly Treats

October 03, 2014 // Franchising.com // NIAGARA FALLS, NY – Menchie's, the friendliest place on earth with a mission to make every guest smile, will open its newest store at LaSalle Center on October 4, located at 1520 Military Rd., Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Offering high quality, delicious self-serve frozen yogurt, Menchie's is sure to become a Niagara Falls favorite!

To celebrate the opening, Menchie's will spread smiles with a seven-day grand opening celebration from Saturday, October 11 to Friday, October 17 packed with free servings of its best-in-class frozen yogurt all day long. In conjunction with the opening festivities, Menchie's LaSalle Center is partnering with Family & Children's Service of Niagara's Emergency Shelters during its grand opening week. The Family & Children's Service of Niagara operates multiple shelters to help struggling families, including those suffering from domestic violence and homeless youth. Family & Children's emergency shelters are funded in part by the local United Way of Greater Niagara. Guests who make a donation to the charity will qualify to enter a drawing to win free frozen yogurt for a year.

"With such an influx of Canadian tourists coming down to Niagara Falls to shop, I knew this was the perfect place to open a Menchie's," said franchisee Kevin Taylor. "I love the Menchie's concept and dedication to community service, which is why during our grand opening, we are partnering with Family & Children's Service of Niagara's Emergency Shelter services, a wonderful organization that helps families in the area. The new self-serve store offers an unparalleled experience that is welcoming, fun and interactive, with arts and crafts for kids, enjoyable music and indoor/outdoor seating areas where friends and family gather. Guests can choose from a variety of rotating yogurt flavors and delicious toppings for unlimited combinations, ensuring happiness in every cup.
