Carvel Unveils New Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream Treats this Fall

New Lineup Joins Returning Pumpkin Soft Serve and Halloween-themed Cakes and Novelties

October 06, 2014 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - Carvel … America's Freshest Ice Cream®, is giving guests three new reasons to fall for the brand this season with a trio of new pumpkin pie-inspired ice cream treats. The new lineup joins the guest-favorite pumpkin soft serve and Halloween-themed treats, including an updated Witch Cake, this fall.

The three new ways to enjoy pumpkin at Carvel® include:

• Pumpkin Pie Sundae Dashers® – Layers of pumpkin soft serve ice cream, marshmallows and graham cracker crust, topped with whipped cream and graham cracker crumbles.
• Pumpkin Pie Shakes – A thick blend of freshly made pumpkin ice cream and graham cracker crumbles.
• Hand Scooped Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream – Layers of fresh pumpkin ice cream, marshmallows and graham cracker crust.

The Pumpkin Pie Sundae Dasher, the Pumpkin Pie Shake and Pumpkin Soft Serve will be available at participating locations now through Nov. 20, and the Hand Scooped Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream will be available through the end of the year.

Carvel is also bringing back the classic Witch Cake and novelty Ice Screamers so guests can add some fright – and delight – to Halloween parties and get-togethers. Featuring a ghastly green witch face made from whipped frosting and new decadent fudge hair, the Witch Cake is made from layers of fresh ice cream separated by a layer of chocolate crunchies. Decorated as a ghost, the Ice Screamer take-home novelty is a perfect addition for all Halloween festivities.
