Luby's, Inc. To Reopen Fuddruckers Fast Casual Restaurant In El Paso, Texas

A Portion of October 14 Unveiling Sales will Benefit March of Dimes

EL PASO, Texas - Oct. 7, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Luby's, Inc. is reopening a former Fuddruckers franchise location in El Paso, TX under company ownership. The 7,500-square-foot fast casual restaurant at 5030 North Desert Blvd., which has been closed since January 2014, will be unveiled on Tuesday, October 14, debuting a number of decor, system and service enhancements that align it with the company's newest venues. A portion of opening day sales will benefit the local chapter of March of Dimes.

The reveal of the site also signals the return of elements that differentiate this Fuddruckers from typical sites. The 230-seat space features a private party room and dedicated bar featuring a selection of beer and wine. A landscaped terrace provides outdoor seating for 44. Additionally, the restaurant will offer a full appetizer menu with items ranging from coconut shrimp and buffalo wings to quesadillas and sliders.

According to Peter Tropoli, Chief Operating Officer of Luby's, Inc., "We are thrilled to be back in El Paso with a prime address and a product that now represents the best of the Fuddruckers brand in terms of food, ambience and service.
