House Of Bread Franchise Owners Bake 100 Pound Cinnamon Roll and Share with the Victoria, Texas Community

Victoria, Texas (PRWEB) October 08, 2014 - The House of Bread Founder, Sheila McCann has made plenty of 100 pound cinnamon rolls since founding the bakery and café nearly 18 years ago in San Luis Obispo, California. But what started out as a way to entertain local customers has turned out to be a major event, where hundreds of customers stop by to watch the staff assemble the monster roll.

To celebrate the one year anniversary of the House of Bread Bakery and Café in Victoria, owners Tom and Ann Fitzwilliam requested that Head Baker, Neil Giannini come to Victoria to help the local franchisees make their 100 pound roll. The gooey concoction is based on the same recipe that is used daily to make the popular single serve roll. "The only difference between our popular roll and this monster is that it is 200 times larger, and we give this one away to our customers through out the day." said Sheila McCann and added, "Neil is amazing, customers love to watch him work and use the entire staff to entertain the customers."

The House of Bread Bakery makes everything from scratch daily providing families with the most nutritious bakery products available. Customers get to watch and participate in weekly classes on bread making. The recipes have been in the family for decades, but Sheila has always felt that sharing her love of bread making and what she learned making bread with her Grandma years ago on their Montana ranch was giving something back to the community she serves.

Franchise owners Tom and Ann Fitzwilliam invite the entire community of Victoria to drop by to celebrate the one-year anniversary. "We love bread and the Victoria community has been so supportive of our bakery, we want to invite everyone to come down to watch us make the big roll and help us to eat it" said Ann Fitzwilliam. The event is scheduled for October 18, and the big roll will be ready to be cut and served at noon.
