MADISON, Wis. - Oct. 10, 2014 // PRNewswire // - San Francisco Bay Area based trampoline park franchisor ROCKIN' JUMP ® continues to catch the attention of both consumers and investors throughout the USA. The company recently announced its 28th franchise agreement, and now is announcing a new agreement and lease for a flagship location in Madison, WI at 2700 Novation Parkway. The park is scheduled to open in the spring of 2015.
Opening the doors to Madison's first trampoline park are Steve Steidl of Brookfield and Aaron Bakken, a Middleton native who recently returned to the area after nearly 15 years as an entrepreneur in California. Bakken is also the Director of Franchise Marketing & Sales for ROCKIN' JUMP, and has been with the company since 2010.
"Having overseen the creation and development of the ROCKIN' JUMP brand and marketing program, paired with Steve's experience creating his own trampoline park in New Berlin, we bring a very strong understanding of this thriving industry. Having seen first hand how powerful the indoor trampoline park concept has become nationally, I knew it was time to bring a park to my hometown," said Bakken. "Also, with how cold and drawn out our winters typically are, followed by hot and humid summers, I know local parents need an indoor environment like this where kids of all ages (and adults) can literally bounce off the walls, instead of doing it at home."
This 28,000+ square foot flagship ROCKIN' JUMP location will be built by the Alexander Company's in their premier Novation Parkway campus. It will feature multiple private party rooms, a 3-story rock climbing wall, two high flying dodge-ball arenas, a wall-to-wall trampoline open jump arena, a massive foam pit, a basketball 360 degree DUNK ZONE where you can play "above the rim" like the pros, the super popular X-Beam where you can choose your padded jousting stick (and have a blast trying to maintain your balance while you send your opponent falling into the pool of foam below), the amazing "Tripwire" Lazer Maze obstacle course, a Vertigo high jump platform, a Freestyle trick jumping zone and an onsite cafe offering both comfort and healthy food options.
Most importantly, the park will be a popular destination for birthday parties – with every party getting a personal party host to help out parents. Outfitted with free WIFI, a comfortable lounge and mezzanine, this ROCKIN' JUMP park will also enable busy parents and professionals to remain productive while their kids jump. The park will offer special jump times for parents and children under 6 years old, special needs children, tween and teen focused Friday nights with a local DJ, and late night open jump for all ages on Saturday nights. The park will be open 7 days per week and will employ over 70 young people.
Safety is also a top concern for ROCKIN' JUMP, whose parks have consistently exceeded industry standards & employ the industry's only trademarked safety program, called JumpSafe ®.
"As a member of the ROCKIN' JUMP executive team these past few years, I've seen first hand how important it is to parents and our franchisees that our parks have a strong and visible safety program. My partners and I intend to create a destination that lives up to our promise of Safe.Clean.Fun. ® every day."
Pleasanton, California based ROCKIN' JUMP currently has four corporate locations in the Bay Area, its first franchise location open in Trumbull, CT and will have franchise parks opening soon in 28 other locations nationwide and internationally.
