Bar Louie in Boynton Beach to Host Breast Cancer Fundraiser

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Oct. 15, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Bar Louie, located at Renaissance Commons in Boynton Beach, announced today they will be hosting a fundraiser this Saturday, October 18th to raise money for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of South Palm Beach.

Beginning at 6 p.m., the indoor / outdoor event will feature a multitude of festivities, including live music on 2 stages, a Zumba class starting at 8 p.m., raffles, goodie bags for survivors and our Tickled Pink Martini for just $5.25 (6pm-close).The evening entertainment includes Datura Street taking stage inside at 8:00 p.m. and Grindstone on stage outside at 10:00 p.m. Other highlights include a free appetizer for anyone arriving in a pink car and a memory lantern lighting at 9:45 p.m.

The cause certainly resonates with the team at Bar Louie, as their General Manager, Sylvia Clark, has waged her own battle over the last few years with breast cancer. "When going through something as unimaginable as breast cancer, it makes you recognize how imperative it is to support organizations like the American Cancer Society, who are fighting to find a cure. We are honored to work with ACS and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of South Palm Beach," says Clark. Bar Louie will donate 10% of sales on Saturday, October 18th during the event to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of South Palm Beach. "We are hopeful that the community will come out again this year to support this amazing organization with us."
