DQ® Treat Store Opens in Lee's Summit

New, convenient location offers soft-serve treats and Orange Julius® products.

October 6, 2014 - Lee's Summit, Mo. - The Dairy Queen® system is pleased to announce the opening of the Lee's Summit DQ® store located at 1000 NE Sam Walton Lane inside of the Wal-Mart. This location is the newest Dairy Queen location in a family of more than 6,300 restaurants worldwide committed to offering every fan a place where they can relax and share great snacks and treats. The 800 square foot restaurant employs a staff of 15.

The DQ store in Lee's Summit features DQ favorites such as the iconic Blizzard® Treats, DQ Cakes and a wide variety of other soft-serve items, as well as the full line of Orange Julius fruit-blended beverages. All Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies, Light Smoothies and Julius® Original drinks are available in eight flavors including Orange, Strawberry, Strawberry Banana, Tripleberry®, Mango Pineapple, Berry Pomegranate, OrangeBerry and Piña Colada. The Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies are fresh-blended to order with real fruit and low-fat yogurt. The Orange Julius Light Smoothies are 170 calories or less in a small size, contain no artificial sweeteners or flavors and are yogurt-free.
