October 16, 2014 // Franchising.com // ALH Group, who operate over 300 hotels nationally have partnered with Shine Hospitality to introduce Burger Edge at the Albion Charles hotel, located in the heart of the cosmopolitan inner Melbourne suburb of Northcote.
100% Australian owned and operated, Burger Edge was inspired by the growing number of casual diners wanting a fast, healthy and value for money burger that includes gourmet options using the freshest ingredients.
Burger Edge will be the first franchise food concept introduced to ALH hotels. "We have identified a number of unique sites across our business nationally, where we believe a specific concept could work in conjunction with our existing business and also contribute to the surrounding area" said ALH CEO Bruce Mathieson Jnr.
"It has been an exciting project to get off the ground we believe Burger Edge is a good fit for ALH" said Chris Shine.
Burger Edge already operates more than 24 stores and this new opening will provide local employment opportunities.
Burger Edge Franchisor, Issam Soubjaki said "We are excited to be involved with the ALH Group and Shine Hospitality to mobilise this innovative project. We love how the Northcote site has developed and think it will appeal to new and existing customers, local families and burger lovers in general. We look forward to potentially opening more sites with the ALH Group"
Burger Edge will open at the Albion Charles hotel Cnr. Charles St and St. Georges Rd, Northcote in late October 2014.
Melbourne based PHD Retail designed the outlet.
