Giant Tiger Is a Proud Supporter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada's Light the Night Walk 2014

OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwired - Oct. 17, 2014) - Giant Tiger Stores Limited is pleased to announce the success of Giant Tiger's recent across the East Coast campaign to raise funds and awareness for the Light the Night Walk. This donation of $10,000 represents proceeds from September 2nd until October 6th.

During the Round Up Campaign, Giant Tiger cashiers asked customers if they would be interested in rounding up to the nearest dollar. The amount donated goes directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. Giant Tiger Stores in Halifax and Dartmouth were both key supporters.

A total of 13 Giant Tiger Stores proudly participated in the Round Up Campaign to support the Light the Night Walk. In total Giant Tiger's initiatives raised $10,000 to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, showing that together communities can truly make a difference in the lives of so many!
