The Smoothie Franchise Plans to Open Eight More Locations in the Next Three Years

ORLANDO, FL - (Marketwired - Oct 21, 2014) - The Planet Smoothie franchise, which already has 28 locations in Central Florida, plans to open eight more in the next three years.

Jason Mann, who owns three area stores and helps support the other 25, says the company is looking for franchise partners to bring Planet Smoothie to new neighborhoods and cities. He sees opportunities to expand in the Orlando area downtown, on International Drive, at Florida Mall, Kissimmee, Celebration and Clermont. He also says the business opportunity is strong in Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Ocala and Lakeland.

Planet Smoothie was an easy choice for Mann when he was looking for a business to start. It requires few employees to run a location, and the work atmosphere is fun.

"You don't need tremendous inventory, and it is a simple concept to operate - especially for someone without restaurant experience," he says. Also, startup costs are low, and the business model is strong.

When Mann started, his was the third Planet Smoothie in Orlando. Now the brand is well-known, which makes it an even better opportunity.
