SCOTTSDALE, AZ - (Marketwired - Oct 21, 2014) - Early music education has been shown to help develop memory and learning skills, so music has always been integrated into classes at The Little Gym, the premiere enrichment and physical development center for children. Beginning in January 2015, The Little Gym will add stand-alone music and movement classes through an exclusive partnership with Kindermusik, the world's leading provider of such classes for young children.
Kindermusik classes at The Little Gym will be offered for children newborn through 4 years, with parents and children participating together through age 2. The 45-minute music classes, which will be taught by Kindermusik educators and The Little Gym Kindermusik-certified instructors, will include Cuddle & Bounce, Sing & Play, Wiggle & Grow, Laugh & Learn, and Move & Groove. Through the partnership, The Little Gym will become the only gym-based franchise offering stand-alone Kindermusik music classes to its members in the United States and select locations in Canada.
Select The Little Gym locations will begin offering Kindermusik classes this January, with additional locations being added throughout the year.
"Music has always been an important part of The Little Gym experience with our proprietary library of more than 700 children's songs providing learning and activity cues for our classes," said Ruk Adams, President/CEO, The Little Gym International. "We're excited to be expanding our music education curriculum at The Little Gym by adding instruction from one of the world's most trusted providers, Kindermusik.
