WESTCHESTER, Ill. - Oct. 22, 2013 – Chicago-based CD One Price Cleaners (cdonepricecleaners.com), a leader and franchisor in the $9 billion dry cleaning industry, is giving back to the communities it serves with its 3rd Annual Coat Drive benefitting needy families through the Infant Welfare Society.
Each of its 31 franchise and company-owned CD One Price Cleaners locations in the Chicago area will ask their customers to donate children's coats from Saturday, Nov. 1 through Friday, Nov. 20. Each store will then clean the coats for free, readying them for those children in need to keep them warm throughout Chicago's notoriously frigid winters. While this drive is focused on children, adult-sized coats are welcome.
“Our goal is creating awareness and support within our CD One communities for the services the Infant Welfare Society provides to underserved, underinsured women and children, and to give them a foundation for a future productive and wholesome life,” said John Morocco, vice president of marketing for CD One Price Cleaners.
Morocco added that last year the company cleaned and donated more than 1,300 coats in 2013, and hopes to top 1,500 this year. Media sponsors of the drive include WGN Radio, WTMX/The MIX, WBBM-AM and WYAZ/Clear Channel, along with billboard company Lamar.
CD One Price Cleaners is based in suburban Chicago. Founded in 2001, the company operates 32 franchise and corporate owned locations in the Midwest. Follow CD One Price Cleaners on Facebook and Linked In or visit: www.cdonepricecleaners.com.
