Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is Now Open in Flower Mount, Texas

October 28, 2014 // Franchising.com // Flower Mound, Texas - Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is now open in Flower Mound, Texas, at 2450 Cross Timbers Road. This Mellow brings the outside in, incorporating external and patio features into the interior design, presenting an eclectic, art filled and family friendly environment reminiscent of outdoor life.

Owners Monte Jensen, Martha Jensen and Luis Gonzalez are thrilled to add another Mellow Mushroom to the Dallas area. "We own a couple other Mellows in the area and really felt that Flower Mound was a perfect location for this concept," states Martha Jensen. She continues, "We aspire to be the happiest place in Flower Mound, Texas." Her aspiration is certain to come to fruition, based on the incredible interior design and fabulous food offered.

Mellow Mushroom's menu showcases natural flavors and the freshest of ingredients in a creative menu, featuring an assortment of pizzas, hoagies, salads, calzones and appetizers, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. A gluten free crust and a kids menu are also available.

All Mellow Mushrooms are known as places that provide an entertaining experience in a unique art filled environment, and this location certainly rises to the test. The interior suggests travel and an easy Western vibe. For example, there is an upside-down tree, covered in lights and crystals hanging as a chandelier over the U-shaped bar. Garage style doors open and close to literally let the outside in, so the bar area patrons can enjoy evening breezes as well as those out on the extensive patio.

It is even possible to dine in a silver Airstream, which has been carved out to provide multiple booths, all under a large "Mellow Park" sign. Other outdoorsy signs dream up rustic locales like "Pie Town." There's a mythological green man peering out from under a sign that assures "Love Conquers All," albeit in Latin, all mounted onto a shingled interior wall. Reclaimed items are used throughout where possible, such as the old shutters that surround a clock and some weathered wood. Other fixtures were aged by local painters.

The full service bar features a wide array of craft beers, an extensive wine list and fresh handcrafted cocktails. Mellow Mushroom is also a great place to host a meeting, party or event. Catch day to day sporting events on one of the HD televisions. From trivia night to game day to date night, Mellow Mushroom provides fun for all.
