Food-and-Smoothie Franchise Recognized in World Franchising Network’s Eighth Annual List
ATLANTA - November 11, 2014 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Tropical Smoothie Café, known for its better-for-you food and smoothies with a tropical twist, was named to The World Franchising Network’s "50 Top Franchises for Minorities" list, which was recently announced in the Oct. 24 edition of USA Today.
Tropical Smoothie Café was among 50 franchises named to the eighth annual list, which aims to show the progress minorities have made within the franchising community. The World Franchising Network selected the 50 franchises from more than 380 that sought recognition. To make the list, the franchises were evaluated based on the number of operating units owned or managed by minorities as well as the number of minorities in senior management.
