Art Van Furniture Hiring Seasonal Sales Associates for First Time in 55 Year History

Part Time Positions During Holidays Could Lead to Full Time Careers with Retailer

November 13, 2014 // Franchising.com // WARREN, MICH. - Art Van Furniture is helping to ensure it's the most wonderful time of the year for 30 Michiganders in need of jobs this holiday season. For the first time in its 55 year history, the Midwest's No. 1 furniture and mattress retailer is recruiting and hiring 30 seasonal sales associates over the next ten days for its Lakeside, Novi, Ann Arbor, Flint, Grand Rapids and Warren stores during the holidays.

"There's never been a better time to join the Art Van Furniture team," said Gary Van Elslander , President of Art Van Furniture. "We are experiencing rapid growth and expansion throughout Michigan, creating superb job opportunities for individuals in the short and long term."

The 30 new seasonal positions pay $12 per hour. New employees will work between 20 and 28 hours per week on Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends. Individuals will have opportunities to move into regular sales positions in 2015.
