Giant Tiger in Perth, Ontario Celebrates Grand Opening This Saturday!

OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwired - Nov. 13, 2014) - On Saturday, November 15, 2014, Giant Tiger will celebrate the official opening of its new relocated store in Perth, Ontario.

Giant Tiger has been a proud member of the Perth community since 1972. The new Giant Tiger will be located at 88 Dufferin St. This new location will offer approximately 18,165 square feet of selling space, a huge increase from the old 7,828 square feet of selling space.

Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting ceremony. There will be speeches by some local dignitaries, the Store Owner, Gord Jones, and his wife Joanne Jones. Giant Tiger is proud to be connected and committed to the communities we serve. There will be a charity BBQ ran by the Lions Club. Participants can get a Giant Value hotdog and a drink for $1 and all proceeds will go to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation.

It will be a fun-filled day with plenty of free activities for customers of all ages, including gift card giveaways to the first 50 customers in store, free face painting, free pictures from the fun Giant Tiger photo booth, local performances from artist Riq Turner and of course a visit from Friendly, the Giant Tiger! There will also be promotional giveaways and Giant Value product sampling during the celebration!

Giant Tiger Perth will also be hosting a Princess Meet and Greet from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
