Employee Feedback Ranks Ace Hardware Among Top Companies to Work for in Chicagoland

Oak Brook, Ill., Nov. 14, 2014 – Ace Hardware is pleased to announce that the Chicago Tribune selected Ace as one of Chicago's Top Workplaces for 2014. Ace Hardware ranked No. 29 in the midsize category on the best places to work list, after being named a National Standard Workplace in 2012 and 2013.

Top Workplace rankings are based exclusively on feedback from a survey that polled more than 800 employees based at Ace Hardware's worldwide headquarters in Oak Brook, Ill. The Top Workplaces survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with more than 40 major publishing partners and recognizes a National list of Top Workplaces. Specifically, Workplace Dynamics surveys employees based on three critically important elements within an organization: employee engagement, organizational health and overall satisfaction. The survey uncovers levels of employee satisfaction across numerous areas, including pay and benefits, company direction and manager relationships.
