Jazzercise, Inc. will Celebrate Thirty Years of Dance Fitness in Japan

November 10, 2014 // Franchising.com // Jazzercise, Inc. will celebrate thirty years of dance fitness in Japan with an international fitness getaway in Hiroshima, Japan's City of Peace, November 22-24th, 2014. Thousands of Jazzercise customers and instructors will come together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Jazzercise Japan with giant group fitness classes, shopping and the debut of new workout routines to be distributed worldwide.

The Jazzercise Live event, expected to be the largest in the company's history, will take place at Hiroshima Central Park, formerly Hiroshima Municipal Baseball Stadium, located at 5-25 Motomachi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima, Japan. Jazzercise enthusiasts from all over Japan - Okinawa to Hokkaido - and countries including Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, and the United States will attend this historic celebration of Jazzercise Japan's 30th anniversary. The finale of the three-day event will be Let's Get Fit by Jazzercise, a huge, multi-generational dance party for all attendees as well as children from Hiroshima area schools. They will be dancing to music by Perfume, a globally popular all-girl electro-pop trio from Hiroshima. The session will begin on Monday, November 24th at 10 a.m. at Hiroshima Central Park.

Thousands Expected for Largest Ever Jazzercise Live International Fitness Event

Many of the children expected for the finale have attended Jazzercise Kids Get Fit dance parties at their local schools earlier this year. Jazzercise Kids Get Fit is a free community outreach program designed to help schools promote children's fitness as a way of life. Kids Get Fit events combine the latest popular music with high energy, easy to follow dance moves and interactive fitness games led by certified Jazzercise instructors. Last year Jazzercise instructors held 795 events, inspiring 78,600 children worldwide.
