New Orangetheory Fitness Studio Coming to Altamonte Springs

High-Intensity Interval Fitness Franchise Plans Fifth Studio in Central Florida

November 18, 2014 // Franchising.com // FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla - Orangetheory® Fitness, the energizing and fast-growing fitness franchise, today announced that a new studio will be coming to Altamonte Springs, Fla. The Altamonte Springs studio will be located at 397 East Altamonte Drive. This announcement further solidifies the trend in explosive growth the Orangetheory Fitness brand has experienced during 2014.

The new studio will be celebrating its grand opening with a VIP party on November 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. and will officially open to the public on November 21, with classes starting at 5:00 a.m. Membership packages are available now at discounted "pre-opening" rates; customers who become members prior to the studio opening can save up to 20 percent, and prices are locked in through the duration of the membership.

"Altamonte is one of the first Orangetheory studios to roll out our brand new studio design package, which was several months in development and is both aesthetically and functionally incredible," said Dave Long, chief executive officer of Orangetheory Fitness and owner of the Altamonte Springs studio. "There's a completely new look to the lobby and retail stand, and we've placed updated logo graphics throughout the studio. It reflects the evolution of our brand and is the realization of major studio enhancements we've announced over the past year. For a studio like Altamonte, which is one of our smaller locations, the positive impact on the member experience will be immediately felt."

Long is one of the founders of Orangetheory Fitness and has dedicated his life to health and wellness. He spent four years at Massage Envy as Vice President of Operations, taking the concept from 20 clinics to 800. After forming Ascente Group with business partner Jerome Kern, Dave took European Wax Center from five to 200 locations and sold out the entire U.S. for area franchise development. His passion for fitness, combined with his experience in franchise development and business has helped Orangetheory Fitness grow exponentially over the past few years.
