Planet Fitness To Open First Club in Tomball, Texas

Nation's fastest growing health club chain announces opening of 20,000 square foot club.

TOMBALL, Texas - Dec. 4, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Planet Fitness, the nation's leading franchisor of low-price/high-value gyms, announced the grand opening of a new club in Tomball at 27830 State Highway 249, and will be offering pre-sale memberships for just $1 Down. The official grand opening is scheduled on or around Tuesday, January 1, which will mark the chain's first location in Tomball and eighth in the greater Houston area.

The space, which is one block north of Wal-Mart, has been completely gutted and transformed into a state-of-the-art club facility. The 20,000 square-foot club will be fully staffed and open 24-hours, seven days a week, and will feature a selection of cardio equipment including: treadmills, ellipticals, arc trainers, and stationary bikes. Every cardio machine is connected to an entertainment system and multiple widescreen HD televisions. Planet Fitness also offers upper and lower body strength machines, a 30-minute PF Express circuit, and a 12-minute ab circuit. The Tomball club includes a PF Spa, with multi-level tanning, Red Light therapy booths, HydroMassage® beds and massage chairs. Plus, a certified fitness trainer will be on staff weekdays, at no additional charge.
