The Fastest Growing Franchise in the Craft Beer Industry Expands to Ohio

January 08, 2015 // Franchising.com // KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Casual Pint, a craft beer market headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, is proud to bring its unique craft beer experience to Cincinnati. Slated for its grand opening in the third quarter of 2015, the franchise will be a first for Ohio and the first Casual Pint location outside Tennessee.

When the Casual Pint Cincinnati opens, it will mark the first location outside the state of Tennessee. Owned and operated by Mark & Jocelyn Brodd as well as Cincinnati natives, Matthew & Jillian King, the agreement was signed in late October, with the site selection process initiated shortly thereafter. Currently in the developmental stage, Cincinnati beer enthusiasts will soon be able to experience the Casual Pint mission of sharing the craft beer experience in neighborhoods one pint, one growler and one person at a time.

"Cincinnati residents truly understand craft beer and The Casual Pint is a perfect fit for that enthusiasm," said local General Manager Jillian King. "Cincinnatians are dedicated to the celebration of artisan brews and we are excited to become part of the community while supporting our local breweries at the same time!"

The Casual Pint Cincinnati location came to be from the now available franchise opportunities offered nationwide. Slated as the ninth store, first location in Ohio, and first outside of Tennessee, the all-new store will soon be followed by other openings in the United States. Each franchise features hundreds of bottled local, domestic and international brews as well as an ever-changing 22 tap wall for take-home growlers and on-site tastings in a dedicated bar area.
