Wireless Zone® Makes Entrepreneur's Franchise 500

The nation's largest Verizon Wireless franchise retailer ranked as the No. 231 franchise.

Ranked as no. 231 for worldwide franchises, this year's ranking marks the sixth instance the Wireless Zone® system has made the prestigious list.

"Wireless Zone® is very proud of the repeat recognition by Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500," said Janet Labanara, director of franchise development for Wireless Zone®. "Our business transactions are on the move, and in the final quarter of 2014, Wireless Zone® system saw a robust increase in sales year over year. Each company on Entrepreneur Magazine's "Franchise 500" list is judged by "objective, quantifiable measures of a franchise operation." Other factors considered include financial strength and stability, growth rate, company age, startup costs, and more. In order to qualify for the list, franchises must have at least 10 units, one of which must be located in the United States. In addition, each listing must be seeking new locations in the U.S.

"In early December 2014, we announced a dedicated expansion plan to open at least 10 all-new locations in the New York Metro area before 2016," said Labanara. "This expansion is very important to us and our franchisees as their individual hard work helps the entire Wireless Zone® system learn and expand in to other markets for the future."
