Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is Now Open in Orlando-International Drive, Florida

January 16, 2015 // Franchising.com // Orlando, Fla. - Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is now open in Orlando-International Drive, Fla., at 10725 International Drive. Just off I-Drive, this Mellow serves up serves up handmade artisan pizzas, handcrafted cocktails and craft beers in a rock 'n' roll fantasy that is perfect for its whimsical and fun surroundings.

Mellow offers a welcome respite from or exciting companion to the nearby theme parks, resorts, shopping, entertainment complexes, cinemas and convention center.

Owners Chuck and Stacey Votey are excited to bring Mellow to the tourism corridor. "We are Mellow Mushroom fans who wanted to open a Mellow because we truly believe in the product. This is the third Mellow location we have opened in the Orlando area," say the Voteys.

Mellow Mushroom's menu showcases natural flavors and the freshest of ingredients in a creative menu, featuring an assortment of pizzas, hoagies, salads, calzones and appetizers, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. A gluten free crust and a kids menu are also available.

The interior design features a music and rock star theme. Perhaps the most distinctive feature is the electric guitar chandelier, in which a central blue globe is encircled by psychedelic-colored, glowing electric guitars, necks firing outward like sunbeams. There is also an Elton John-themed booth, which features a large mural of Elton performing, a glam piano-shaped table made of piano keys, and an eccentric chandelier above. Along the atrium ceiling the Shakespearian verse, "If music be the food of love, play on," anchors a fantastical mural of women blowing the seeds of dandelion globes, the seeds transforming into musical notes, and the notes in turn orbiting the world.

Mellow Mushroom's mission is to provide delicious food in a fun and creative environment. The layout of this store is ideal for entertainment. Whether you wish to rock 'n' roll all night or party every day, there is something for everyone here. There is a warm, inviting bar inside with lots of TVs for local and national sports. The full service bar features a wide array of craft beers, an extensive wine list and fresh handcrafted cocktails. There is even a small patio for watching the roller coaster and hearing the thrill riders' screams.
