RNR Custom Wheels and Tire Express's Annual Franchisee Conference: Celebrates a Banner Year
January 21, 2015 // Franchising.com // RNR Custom Wheels and Tire Express held their annual franchisee conference January 5th through the 7th, 2015, in Tampa, Florida, and had an amazing turnout! Ninety-nine percent of their franchisees made the trip from almost 20 states to converge on Tampa and celebrate 2014's success, as well as to make plans for the year to come.
Franchisees brought along operators, managers and employees to learn more about where the company is heading on a corporate level in 2015, and to sit down and talk about the things that have worked for them in 2014 and ask advice of other franchisees whose successes can feed their own endeavors. Topics ranged from digital marketing and the launch of RNR's new website, to social media, to product selection, to finding the perfect location for new RNR stores; but one thing franchisees appreciate the most is the time allotted to just pick each other's brains and discuss their businesses. Said Ron Russell, an RNR franchise owner in Norfolk, Virginia: "My favorite part of the week is getting together with old friends and making new ones. The RNR family keeps getting bigger every year, and exchanging best practices with others who actually care about your success is what always makes the conference and the franchise well worth the investment."
Highlighting this year's event was a session with best-selling author, business consultant and executive coach, Bryan Dodge. Dodge spoke to the group about purpose and being there for the individuals who depend on you--from work to home. He focused on positive energy, and creating purpose for the people around you and memorable experiences for your customers. "Our guest speaker, Bryan Dodge, hit it out of the park. I have never seen an entire room so engaged for almost two hours--on the edges of their seats, listening to every word. It was amazing!" said Larry Sutton, Founder and President of RNR.
Also included in the conference was a vendor show where franchisees were able to put a face to the companies they already work with and meet new vendors to learn about the latest and greatest products coming on the market. Represented were Velocity New York, STR Racing, West Coast Wheel Accessories, Mid-State Tire and many more.
The conference closed with everyone's favorite event--the awards ceremony. 2014 was a great year for RNR with a record number of stores joining the Million Dollar Club, four stores reaching the two-million dollar level, and a new company record for over $70 million in top-line revenues. According to Larry Sutton, Founder and President of RNR, "This, by far, was our best franchisee meeting in history! Coming off of our best year of performance ever with over $70 million in revenue, everyone was pumped and ready to share new ideas and best practices with their fellow franchisees to get the best results for everyone's business. We finished the event with our annual awards banquet and recognized the top performers in the country. Everyone went home with the expectation to top the best year in our history. It just doesn't get better than that.”
