January 29, 2015 // Franchising.com // Madison, N.J. - Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC today announced the promotion of Sean Blankenship to chief marketing officer from his prior role as senior vice president of marketing for the firm. In this expanded role, Blankenship is responsible for the development and expansion of the Coldwell Banker® global brand architecture, including the luxury home program Coldwell Banker Previews International. He will continue to oversee the brand’s holistic marketing platform, which includes advertising, media, public relations, product development, promotions and marketing communications.

Since joining the company in 2013, Blankenship has helped re-envision the real estate business by pushing the brand to create exceptional experiences for consumers and agents. And with the 2014 "Home Sweet Home" campaign featuring rock band Motley Crue, he is reshaping the brand’s voice. The most recent of which was the November launch of the new Coldwell Banker Real Estate digital platform designed to connect buyers, sellers and agents like never before by empowering sellers to actively participate in marketing their home.

Before joining Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Blankenship spent most of his career in the automotive industry, leading digital and marketing initiatives for brands like Nissan and Toyota. He holds a bachelor's degree from California State University at Fullerton, earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix and is a licensed real estate sales professional.
