Embassy Suites Debuts in Silicon Forest, Portland’s Tech Hub
New All-Suite Hotel is the Area’s First and Only Full Service Property

Centrally located in Portland’s tech hub, Silicon Forest, the 165 all-suite hotel is the first and only full service hotel in the area. The grand opening was celebrated with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, February 5th. The hotel is owned by Hillsboro Hotel Partners II, LLC, developed by Thackeray Garn Company LLC out of Salt Lake City and is managed by Western States Lodging and Management.

Embassy Suites Portland/Hillsboro offers a flexible meeting and conference space totaling 4,800 square feet spread across six meeting rooms; three of which can be opened up to create a 3,000 square foot ballroom. For smaller sized meetings, guests have the option of selecting one of two board rooms, each able to host 14-16 people or one 780 square foot flexible-space meeting room.
Guests are able to dine during lunch and dinner in the restaurant and lounge Sprigs, which features progressive regional cuisine highlighting the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Local wines from the Willamette Valley and local microbrews are offered on the menu as well as specialty cocktails. For added convenience, room service is also available. A highlighted water feature and lush interior landscaping adds to a relaxing, conversational ambiance in the lounge area.
Guests staying at the new Embassy Suites Portland/Hillsboro can take comfort in knowing they are only 11 miles from Portland’s rich arts and culture scene and recreational activities for the family. Within a mile of the hotel is the MAX Light Rail line, which can be used to reach nearby Beaverton and downtown Portland, where they’ll find ample shopping centers, restaurants, craft breweries and more.
