Philly Pretzel Factory Executives to Receive Elite Industry Distinction at IFA Convention

Award-Winning Pretzel Franchise Looks to Bolster Governing Strength with CFE Certifications

PHILADELPHIA (PRWEB) February 10, 2015 - Philly Pretzel Factory is proud to announce that two members of its executive team will be receiving the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) recognition after completing a program offered by the International Franchise Association’s Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE), whose purpose is to enhance the professionalism of franchising by accredited training and education standards.

Chris Dowling, Director of Unit Economics at Philly Pretzel Factory, and Adam Terranova, Marketing Manager of Philly Pretzel Factory will be awarded their certifications along with other designees at this year’s IFA Convention held Feb. 13-17 in Las Vegas.

The ICFE awards this honor to executives who have completed the ICFE program based on experience in the franchising industry, participation in IFA events and curriculum credits earned. A CFE recipient must complete a total of 3500 credits in areas including Experience, Participation, and Education Core course work. Additionally, recipients must pass a mandatory CFE final examination to qualify. The program’s mission in professional development is to enhance understanding of industry fundamentals through specialized knowledge.

Joining Ferrill, Terranova and Dowling, Philly Pretzel Factory’s Co-founder and CEO Dan DiZio is currently enrolled in the CFE program and will have completed his coursework for the 2016 Graduation at IFA.
