Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is Now Open in St. Simons Island, Georgia

This Mellow serves up handmade artisan pizzas, handcrafted cocktails and craft beers in a unique atmosphere that will surely liven up more than just a few taste buds.

Owners Bo Chambliss and Bill Stembler are excited to bring Mellow to the coastal scene in South Georgia. “We are thrilled to bring a unique family friendly option to St. Simons,” states Chambliss.

Mellow Mushroom’s menu showcases natural flavors and the freshest of ingredients in a creative menu, featuring an assortment of pizzas, hoagies, salads, calzones and appetizers, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. A gluten free crust and a kids menu are also available.

Mellow Mushroom's mission is to provide delicious food in a fun and creative environment. Among the imaginative display of coastal psychedelic artwork sits a 200 year old live oak tree. The entire back patio is built around the tree, providing a blend of nature and privacy. The setting brings the outdoors in and the indoors out and is perfect for accenting the coastal scenery. From the chasing psychedelic sharks to the family photos in reclaimed wood in the main dining area, this destination allows one to soak up the interesting ambience throughout every twist and turn.

This Mellow features a full service bar, along with an ever changing assortment of craft beer. For a great place to catch some sports action, this Mellow has eleven flat screen TVs and a full audio system. Looking for something unique throughout the week?
