Fast Growing National Health Club Franchise Expands In Ferguson With Substantial Capital Investment and New Jobs
FERGUSON, Mo., Feb. 24, 2015 // PRNewswire // -- Planet Fitness Midwest ("PFMW"), the local franchisee for the health club disruptor "Planet Fitness", is building 11 new clubs in the St. Louis area and today announces that development is underway for a new location in Ferguson, MO in the Ferguson North County Festival Mall (10803 West Florissant Avenue), anchored by Walmart and Sam's, a property owned and operated by Otis and Clark. With this spacious 30,000 square foot club investment, Planet Fitness begins its goal of helping to revitalize Ferguson. Projected completion date is summer 2015. This club will bring 50 new jobs during the multi-million dollar construction phase.
