FirstLight HomeCare Leader Recognized as Certified Franchise Executive
March 05, 2015 // Franchising.com // WASHINGTON D.C. – FirstLight HomeCare’s Director of Franchise Services, Devin Bevis, was recognized recently as a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives.
Mr. Bevis completed a comprehensive course of study in franchise management offered by the institute, which is the academic branch of the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Educational Foundation. IFA is the world’s oldest and largest organization representing franchising worldwide and honored this year’s designees last month during its annual convention in Las Vegas.
Candidates are required to complete a rigorous course of study to earn the CFE designation, which includes attending institute-sponsored educational seminars and workshops. The program enhances franchising professionals’ understanding of both the industry’s fundamental and complex aspects.
FirstLight HomeCare, a leading provider of non-medical, in-home care, offers complete companion and personal care services for seniors, new mothers, those recovering from surgery and others in need of assistance. This recent certification adds to the education and experience Mr. Bevis brings to the FirstLight HomeCare management team.
“At FirstLight HomeCare, we strive to provide our franchisees with exceptional service so they can provide that same level of care to their clients,” explained Bevis. “This certification shows my continued commitment to franchising so I can provide the best experience possible for our franchisees.”
This certification adds to his deep understanding of delivering award-winning levels of customer service. He is a graduate of the Ritz-Carlton Customer Service Training series and has also held positions in franchise development and database marketing in a multiple franchise concept environment.
