"Ever since Mueller was first announced many years ago, we have loved the idea of opening up a theater there. Mueller is a groundbreaking development and a really cool neighborhood," said Alamo founder and CEO Tim League, "we are excited to be working with Catellus here and honored to be a part of it."
Opening in 2016, Alamo Drafthouse Mueller will feature six screens of new releases, classics, independent films, foreign movies and the Alamo's unique signature programming. "I've recently been charged with creating great cinema experiences for kids ages 3 to 18 at the Alamo," says Amy Averett, Alamo Director of Family and Community Engagement. "We look forward to bringing lots of great new family-focused programs as well as our 'Alamo Drafthouse NEXT' youth film program to the neighborhood."
