School Of Rock Woodland Hills Ready To Rock N’ Roll
Celebrate Grand Opening of California’s Newest School of Rock
March 10, 2015 // Franchising.com // WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. - School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, today announced the grand opening of its newest California school located at 6727 Fallbrook Ave. Area residents are invited to celebrate the opening on Saturday, March 7, from 1 - 4 p.m. Attendees may participate in free lessons, tours and other activities, accompanied by live music from the house band of School of Rock Burbank.
The School of Rock music program differentiates itself by encouraging students to learn how to play with their fellow students. Taking the focus off the individual and creating a team dynamic allows students to enjoy a supportive and motivating environment in which to learn. The team dynamic makes School of Rock a fun place to practice and encourages kids to invest in the learning process. For over 15 years, this method of teaching has led to the concept’s growth in over 150 schools in nine countries.
“Our goal at School of Rock is to reach as many aspiring musicians as we can,” said School of Rock CEO, Dzana Homan. “Each time a new location opens up, we get the privilege of providing students with experiences they wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else; special guest professors, the prestigious AllStars program and much more.”
“As both a father and musician, it was no question that School of Rock was the go-to choice when deciding to bring a music school to the West Valley,” said franchisee Phil Christie. “I look forward to the positive contributions School of Rock will bring to the community, and the grand opening is a great place to witness what is to come.”
