Fresh Thai Flavors on the Menu at Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint

Two new ethnic-inspired dishes, Thai Salad and Sriracha Chicken Pizza, available for limited time.

March 17, 2015 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA, GA - Fast-casual pizza pioneer Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint is bringing Southeast Asian flavors to its menu with the introduction of two new limited-time only menu dishes, the ThaiTastic Salad and Sriracha Chicken Pizza. Both are inspired by the complex sweet-sour-salty-spicy flavor of Thai cuisine and are available at Uncle Maddio’s locations nationwide through May.

“The Uncle Maddio’s culinary team prides itself on keeping up with consumer taste preferences to ensure we’re giving guests the variety and flavors they want,” said Matt Andrews, CEO and founder of Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint. “Southeast Asian cuisine is very popular right now. Our ThaiTastic Salad and Sriracha Chicken Pizza are ideal for guests looking for bright, authentic, ethnic flavor notes. They are perfect spring dishes.”

According to the National Restaurant Association’s “2015 Culinary Forecast”, Southeast Asian is the No. 5 ethnic-dining style in America. Uncle Maddio’s take on the trend incorporates ingredients such as fresh red onions, purple cabbage, peanuts and Sriracha sauce.

The ThaiTastic Salad features fresh field greens drizzled with handmade Thai dressing and topped with freshly grilled chicken, fresh cut red onions and purple cabbage, peanuts and Uncle Maddio’s own sweet and spicy Sriracha sauce.
For those who prefer something heartier, the Sriracha Chicken Pizza starts with Uncle Maddio’s homemade pizza dough and is topped with the same homemade sauces and fresh ingredients.

“The great thing about our ThaiTastic Salad and Sriracha Chicken Pizza is they appeal not only to the Millennials who like spicy, ethnic food, but also the culinary adventurous of all ages” Andrews said. “We’re making ethnic accessible to the masses.”
