Promoted in late 2014, Johnson now oversees all teams and departments of the franchisor paying close attention to the store level and the operational support offered to Wireless Zone® franchise owners for continued business growth.

Johnson moves to his new position at Wireless Zone® from several months spent as the company’s senior executive vice president. From early 2013 until mid-2014, Johnson’s skills in merchandising, retail management, buying, strategic planning and purchasing were utilized until April of last year when he was appointed chief operating officer, managing practically every department excluding legal, finance, IT, and human resources. A few months later, Johnson’s success resulted in officially being named president of Wireless Zone® in October 2014.
“During my time with Wireless Zone®, we created a number of more efficient, internal management procedures that have helped us succeed, earning a year over year increase in fourth quarter sales in 2014,” said Johnson. “We will continue to work hard to align our teams at the executive and store level in an effort to create an even more streamlined franchise system. In the next coming months, Wireless Zone® will develop new and exciting ways to benefit both our current and future owners through incentives, training programs and support.”
