Pita Pit Rolls Out Royal Swedish Snowballs Across Canada

Fresh-Thinking Brand Introduces Health Forward Dessert Option for Limited Time

KINGSTON, ON (PRWEB) April 03, 2015 - Beginning this April, Pita Pit locations across the country will be introducing Canadians to a European dessert sensation guaranteed to satisfy any sweet tooth without the guilt. Royal Swedish Snowballs are tasty vanilla-whipped centres enrobed in chocolate and lightly sprinkled with coconut, which Pita Pit is importing to make available for the first time ever in North America. This also marks the first specialized dessert option Pita Pit has offered in their 20 year history, and in line with Pita Pit’s commitment to fresh and healthy options, the morsels are a wholesome indulgence that are low in calories. Royal Swedish Snowballs will be available at all Pita Pit locations in Canada beginning April 1.

“Unlike snow, these delicious treats didn’t just fall from the sky,” said Kevin Pressburger, President of Pita Pit Canada. “At Pita Pit, we take both taste and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle seriously, so we scoured the globe to find a dessert that matched our standards of providing a fun and delicious experience, but won’t leave you feeling guilty about your choice.”

Royal Swedish Snowballs are made from whole foods, contain a mere 73 calories, and provide a tantalizing finish to a fresh and healthy meal at Pita Pit. The dessert treat has developed a huge following in Europe, enjoyed in countries with strict nutritional standards. The ingredients include mainly egg whites, vanilla, cocoa and coconut with zero stabilizers, flavour enhancers, artificial sweeteners, and absolutely no chemicals of any kind. Swedish Snowballs are also gluten and nut free.

“Wholesome foods don’t normally enjoy the reputation of also being sinfully delicious. Royal Swedish Snowballs are the dessert that breaks that paradigm in the most unexpected way,” said Pressburger. “We are confident that unlike regular snowballs, these will only get bigger and bigger as the summer heats up.”

The Pita Pit team is excited to share Royal Swedish Snowballs with their fans across Canada and is working with Royal Swedish Snowballs on additional flavors of the health forward, indulgent treats. The brand will be engaging fans on social media with posts and special offers about Royal Swedish Snowballs on the company’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
