April 06, 2015 // Franchising.com // Greenwood Village, Colo. – Grease Monkey International, Inc. is pleased to announce that it’s Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Development, Ralph Yarusso, has been recognized as a Certified Franchise Executive by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives.
Mr. Yarusso completed a comprehensive course of study in franchise management offered by the institute, which is the academic branch of the International Franchise Association’s Educational Foundation. IFA is the world’s oldest and largest organization representing franchising worldwide and honored this year’s designees during its annual convention in Las Vegas, NV.
This recognition is one of many Mr. Yarusso has earned over the past several decades. His desire to be a leader began as a former Air Force Air Crew Member on the C141 with over 3000+ hours of flight time experience. As a multi-unit Meineke Franchisee he was named IFA and Meineke Franchisee of the Year. He was also first in his region to attain the “Million Dollar Center” sales mark, Franchisee Forum Member/Director for the IFA, Chairman of the Meineke National Council / FAC and twice voted as President of the Meineke Dealers Association, to name only a few. Mr. Yarusso also was a member of the Driven Brands Sr. Executive team as RVP/COO prior to joining Grease Monkey International. Attaining his CFE is a clear example of Mr. Yarusso’s continued dedication and belief in franchising both as a Franchisee and now Franchisor.
Nearly 1,800 franchise executives are currently enrolled or have received certification. More than 300 IFA-member companies currently have one or more executives enrolled in the program that provides benefits such as specialized knowledge, industry recognition, peer-level networking and professional standing.
Candidates are required to complete a rigorous course of study to earn the CFE designation, which includes attending institute-sponsored educational seminars and workshops.
