Nation's Restaurant News Honors Fondue Franchise With Coveted Top Survey Ranking
April 14, 2015 // Franchising.com // TAMPA, FL - The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., the world's premier fondue restaurant franchise, is proud to be recognized as the No. 1 casual-dining restaurant in the Nation's Restaurant News (NRN) 2015 Consumer Picks report. The comprehensive survey measures customer preference and restaurant brand strength.

The Melting Pot received an overall score of 74.8 percent, with respondents giving the brand an "excellent" or "good" ranking, which placed the franchise in the No. 1 slot for 2015. In the past, The Melting Pot pulled in a No. 4 ranking in 2013 and No. 6 ranking in 2014 for the Consumer Picks. This is the 5th annual NRN Consumer Picks report and the first time The Melting Pot has obtained the No. 1 spot among the 40 casual-dining chains surveyed.
The NRN Consumer Picks report measures perceptions of restaurant brands in four categories. NRN works with research company WD Partners to survey more than 4,200 people and score brands on factors such as service, food quality and atmosphere. Responses are used to create an overall score to produce rankings. In addition to casual-dining, categories include limited-service, family-dining and fine-dining.
