Lindsay M. Bouffard Joins Roetzel's Columbus Office

April 15, 2015 // Franchising.com // The Columbus office of Roetzel & Andress, LPA, welcomes attorney Lindsay M. Bouffard to the firm as an associate in the Employment Services Group. Ms. Bouffard joins a growing practice that recently welcomed labor attorneys Matt Austin and Todd Sarver to the Columbus employment services team.

“Lindsay brings a wealth of talent to our team,” said Douglas Spiker, Practice Group Manager of Roetzel’s Employment Services Group. “We are very pleased to have her aboard and look forward to the many contributions she is sure to make.”

Ms. Bouffard focuses her practice on the representation of management in all aspects of labor and employment law. She provides advice and counsel to employers regarding preparation and implementation of personnel policies, employee hiring and discipline, disability accommodation issues, discrimination claims, and litigation matters. She represents and advises clients in matters related to the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Ms. Bouffard’s experience also extends to advising employers on issues related to dealing with labor unions, including labor arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, and unfair labor practice proceedings.

Before joining Roetzel, Ms. Bouffard was an attorney with Steptoe & Johnson PLLC.

Ms. Bouffard holds a J.D. from The College of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law, where she graduated cum laude, and a B.A. from Denison University, having earned summa cum laude honors.
