Brightway Opens First Agency in Colorado
Colorado Office Marks Tenth State in Which the Company has Operations
April 16, 2015 // Franchising.com // JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - Centennial, located just outside of Denver, marks the spot for a new Brightway Insurance agency and its first office in Colorado, the company announced today.
Agency Owner Cody Casey will open his office there on April 27. As a Brightway independent agent, he will have access to about 20 insurance companies and sell Home, Flood, Auto, Umbrella, Motorcycle, Boat and RV insurance products and services.
Brightway is a national property/casualty insurance retailer selling through a network of franchised independent agencies throughout the country.
“Coming from the window installation industry, I was looking for a business opportunity where I could be my own boss, and leverage a turnkey infrastructure,” said Casey. “With Brightway, I got all that and a business opportunity that provides me residual income from insurance policy renewals. And, I can give my friends and neighbors peace of mind knowing they’ve selected the right coverages, limits and deductibles.”
The company’s locally owned and operated offices serve the needs of nearly 300,000 clients.
The company recently announced its 2014 Agency of the Year, owned by Eric Rand in Boca Raton, Fla. In four years, Rand grew his agency to $17 million in written premium, making it the largest agency in the Brightway system.
Brightway independent agents have access to more than twice as many insurance companies as other independent agents and they focus strictly on selling and growing their books of business, while service, carrier relationships and technology are handled centrally. As a result, Brightway agents consistently sell more new personal lines business than do traditional independent agents.
Brightway began franchising operations in 2008, is privately owned and operates more than 110 franchise locations in ten states. In 2014, the company was named a Top 500 Franchise by Entrepreneur magazine for the second year in a row, the 9th Best Franchise with Less Than $150,000 in Entry Costs by Forbes, and the company was also named to Florida’s Fast 100 by Florida Business Journals for the second year in a row.
