Chicken Salad Chick to Launch Summer Menu Next Week

Fast-Casual restaurant concept to feature seasonal menu items.

Auburn, AL (PRWEB) April 27, 2015 - Chicken Salad Chick, one of NRN’s 2015 Breakout Brands, announced today the upcoming launch of their summer menu items. Starting Monday, May 4th, all Chicken Salad Chick locations will offer a featured plate that includes the return of their lettuce-based Summer Salad as well as a delicious key lime pie. The Summer Salad features the season’s freshest produce, serving dried cranberries, Fuji apples, strawberries, feta cheese and crushed pecans on a bed of green leaf lettuce. The salad is also served with their homemade poppy seed vinaigrette dressing. These two seasonal items, along with the guest’s choice of a chicken salad sandwich or scoop, will comprise the featured plate.

“This fresh and delicious summer plate just might be the perfect meal!” said founder Stacy Brown. “We’re excited that the launch of these items will offer our guests even more healthy menu options.”

The Chicken Salad Chick concept was established in Auburn, AL in 2008 in the kitchen of founder Stacy Brown. Stacy quickly learned that selling a homemade recipe from her kitchen is against the law, and after being shut down by the health department, she decided to solicit the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant which quickly grew to enormous demand and additional locations.
