CiCi’s Pizza Debuts Remodeled Restaurant in Knoxville

Upgraded interior design, new salad bar and buffet ready to delight guests.

June 02, 2015 // Franchising.com // KNOXVILLE, TN – Since last November, the CiCi’s Pizza on Kingston Pike has been closed while undergoing upgrades. Today, pizza lovers in Knoxville will get their first look at – and taste of – the remodeled restaurant.

They won’t be disappointed.

Ben Johnson, a 10-year CiCi’s franchisee who operates the CiCi’s in his hometown of Cookesville, as well as one in Mansfield, OH, can’t wait to show off his newest location in West Knoxville.

“I am proud of all three of my CiCi’s, but it’s hard not to get really excited about the new look at the Knoxville location,” said Johnson. “I’m very passionate about CiCi’s and I believe our guests deserve the very best service and food possible. My team and I look forward to welcoming families from all across the area to our new and improved restaurant.”

One of two CiCi’s in the Knoxville area – the other is in Sevierville – the restaurant officially opens its doors at 8414 Kingston Pike, just across from Sam’s and Walmart, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2. Johnson noted that he plans to bring another CiCi’s to Knoxville next year.

The 4,578 square-foot, free-standing restaurant features refreshed interior design, new furniture, updated signage and graphics, a new game room and multiple flat-screen TVs. Since the restaurant closed last November, CiCi’s has upgraded its salad bar and improved its pizzas with more 100% real cheese, more and better quality meat toppings and new garlic butter crust. Guests will also enjoy CiCi’s new limited-time Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza.

The Kingston Pike restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and marks the 15th CiCi’s in the state of Tennessee, and the 450th system-wide.
