Giant Tiger in Pembroke, Ontario Celebrates Grand Opening this Saturday!

OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwired - June 5, 2015) - On Saturday, June 6, 2015, Giant Tiger will celebrate the official opening of its newly renovated store in Pembroke, ON.

Giant Tiger Pembroke is located at 171 Alexander Street and offers approximately 39,917 square feet of retail space that includes a new community room.

Giant Tiger Pembroke is also pleased to introduce GT Eats, a self-serve café offering coffee, sandwiches, salads, milkshakes and treats where patrons can relax with free wifi.

Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting ceremony, with speeches by local dignitaries and Store Owner Lou Hammill. There will also be a charity BBQ with proceeds going to the War Horse project. Giant Tiger is proud to be connected and committed to the communities we serve.

The grand opening will be a fun-filled day with plenty of free activities for customers of all ages, including gift card giveaways, free face painting, musical entertainment, and of course a visit from Friendly, the Giant Tiger! There will also be promotional giveaways and Giant Value product sampling during the celebration.
