Hurricane Grill & Wings® Opens Second Maryland Location

Tropical-Themed Casual Dining Franchise Comes To Laurel

June 09, 2015 // // WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Hurricane Grill & Wings®, an island-inspired full-service restaurant franchise continues its nationwide expansion with a new location in Maryland. The family-friendly restaurant invites Laurel residents to escape to a tropical paradise and Live with Flavor® where they can choose from a variety of sizzling wings, fresh salads and a wide range of mouth-watering entrees.

Franchisee Lester Pollitt comes to Hurricane Grill & Wings with several years of experience in the franchise industry, having previously served as Divisional Vice President for DavCo Corporation, a Wendy’s franchise group that operates more than 150 restaurants. He has plans to open an additional 3 stores in the Maryland market in the coming years.

“After deciding I wanted to re-enter the workforce two years into retirement, I conducted extensive research on a number of concepts,” said franchisee Lester Pollitt. “I ultimately selected Hurricane Grill & Wings for its expansive menu and strong corporate support system.”

Hurricane Grill & Wings is known for its more than 35 signature flavors of award-winning, never frozen fresh jumbo wings. Flavors range from traditional buffalo sauces to an array of unique options that include Roasted Garlic Interno, Jamaican Jerk and Chipotle Raspberry BBQ and can range in heat intensity from Calm Seas to Evacuation Route. Additionally, guests can customize their own burgers using the new Build-A-Burger menu feature, including a variety of savory toppings and delicious flavors. The location will also offer entrees such as seafood, salads and sandwiches which can be paired with sides like Garlic N’ Parm Fries, Caribbean Yellow Rice and Fresh Cilantro Tomatoes.

Hurricane Grill & Wings new Laurel location features an indoor dining room that seats up to 150 people and an outdoor patio that seats a total of 50. Guests are also able to choose from locally crafted beers that include Jailbreak’s Feed the Monkey, Heavy Seas’ Smooth Sail and Flying Dog’s Bloodline.
