Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt Store Fulfills Cravings with Family-Friendly Treats

June 12, 2015 // Franchising.com // HOUSTON, Tex. – Menchie’s, the friendliest place on earth with a mission to make every guest smile, has opened its newest stores in Sugar Land, TX at 19824 Southwest Fwy., Sugar Land, TX 77479 and Humble, TX at 20440 Highway 59 N., Suite 200, Humble, TX 77338. Offering high quality, delicious self-serve frozen yogurt, Menchie’s is sure to become a Metro Houston favorite!

To celebrate the openings, Menchie’s will spread smiles with a seven-day grand opening celebration at each of the two new locations. On Saturday, June 13 to Friday, June 19, Menchie’s Sugar Land will be packed with free giveaways including t-shirts, Menchie’s merchandise, family-friendly activities and free servings of its best-in-class frozen yogurt. The celebration continues the following week on Saturday, June 20 to Friday, June 26 at the Menchie’s Humble location with the same great fun and freebies.

“Having previously worked in the sales industry, I wanted to jump into a new career that would cater to a community,” said franchisee, Alex Zhai. “Menchie’s does not focus on selling a single product, but on selling a unique and wholesome guest experience and that value is what drew me to the brand.”

The new self-serve store offers an unparalleled experience that is welcoming, fun and interactive, with arts and crafts for kids, enjoyable music and indoor/outdoor seating areas where friends and family gather. Guests can choose from a variety of rotating yogurt flavors and delicious toppings for unlimited combinations, ensuring happiness in every cup.

Menchie’s is also committed to giving back to each community it serves. Stores partner with local schools in fundraising activities and education incentive programs. Each Menchie’s store donates thousands of dollars in cash and products annually to local schools to support student programs.
