Local Entrepreneur Inks Franchise Agreement to Bring Several Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Vans to Market

June 16, 2015 // Franchising.com // JACKSON, Miss. – Chem-Dry, the world's leading carpet and upholstery cleaning service, today announces a signed franchise development agreement that will bring new vans to the streets of Jackson. Magnolia Chem-Dry will provide the best in carpet cleaning to residents of Rankin, Hinds, Scotts and Madison County. The signed franchise announcement follows several consecutive years of explosive growth for the 3,000-unit brand, which is opening an average of more than 100 new franchises per year.

The new Chem-Dry will open under the leadership of franchisee Fred Brereton, who operates several Chem-Dry franchises with the support of his family. A veteran Chem-Dry owner for more than 20 years, Brereton invested in his first operation in the Pensacola area after arriving to a vacation home whose carpets had been ineffectively cleaned prior to his arrival. With his young family stuck with a soggy carpet during their stay, Fred knew there was a better solution available, and was inspired to introduce it to the Pensacola area. With more than 20 years of business experience under his belt in a variety of territories, Fred and his family are poised to be expanding their family business into additional territories.
