Gatti’s Pizza® Opens in San Marcos

One grand opening winner will receive free pizza for a year.

June 23, 2015 // Franchising.com // AUSTIN, Texas – On Monday, June 29, Gatti’s Pizza is coming back to San Marcos. The restaurant will be located at 1504 Aquarena Springs Drive and offer pick-up and delivery services.

To celebrate the new location, Gatti’s will host a grand opening bash set to take place on Saturday, July 11 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. During this time, guests can carry out a large 1-topping pizza for only $6.00. Gatti’s is also offering the chance for one lucky guest to win free pizza for an entire year. Registration will take place inside the restaurant during the celebration.

Upon opening, the new San Marcos location will be offering any large Gatti’s Favorites® pizza for only $12.99 or pick up a large 2-topping pizza for just $9.99 for a limited time.

The new Gatti’s Pizza San Marcos location will remain true to the brand with original recipes developed by founder Colonel Eure. Guests have come to love Gatti’s famous pizza made with smoked Provolone cheese, dough made fresh daily in the restaurant and Gatti’s signature pizza sauce made with 16 herbs and spices.

“We are thrilled to be opening our San Marcos location,” said George Kash, Gatti’s Pizza franchise owner. “It’s great to be back in San Marcos.”

Kash, a veteran franchisee, opened his first Gatti’s location in 1993 and has eight locations in the Austin area. Kash is opening the San Marcos Gatti’s location with his business partner Jim Cotton. Last year, Kash received the inaugural Gatti’s Pizza Mary Kash Memorial Award for Franchise Excellence. The award, named after Kash’s mother, who opened the first Gatti’s franchise location in 1974, is presented to an individual who has contributed skill, time, and effort towards furthering the vision, mission, and strategy of the Gatti’s brand. Kash serves as an active member of the Franchise Advisory Council, where his peers look up to him consistently.
