Entrepreneur and National Sales Manager Thomas Whitley purchases Memphis Franchise from Pat Swisher, President and CEO of Enviro-Master.

Enviro-Master of Memphis is the third franchise location to open in Tennessee. Mr. Whitley was referred to Enviro-Master from a franchise owner from a different service industry. Up to that point, he had been considering restaurant ownership. “Enviro-Master fit me perfectly,” stated Thom Whitley. At Discovery Day, he met Pat Swisher, President and CEO of Charlotte, NC-based Enviro-Master and members of his executive team, and Thom was impressed by their “core values, honesty, integrity and sense of system-wide teamwork.” Enviro-Master will serve restaurants, businesses, schools and organizations throughout Memphis as far east as Jackson, Tennessee and stretching west to Jonesboro and Wynne, Arkansas, north to Ripley, TN and south to Tunica and Senatobia, Mississippi. Whitley has launched his business the week of June 22nd.

Thom Whitley was most recently National Sales Manager for a bioremediation absorbent company. He has started two businesses in Memphis: a small personal training gym that he operated for 19 years and a marketing company. Prior to that, Thom managed national accounts for the largest private agri-business company in the world. Born in Georgia, Thom spent his early years in Florida, North Carolina and attended the University of Alabama, where he earned his BS in Commerce and Business Administration. He played football under coach Paul Bear Bryant and learned much about tenacity during “incredibly intense off-season training.” At age 30, Thom traveled to Central America to learn Spanish and broaden his life experience. He returned to Memphis, where he continues to live with his wife Tracy, who owns and operates a Memphis children’s dance studio along with her sister and mother.
