El Pollo Loco Keeps the Fire Going in Houston with New Humble Restaurant

Fire-grilled chicken restaurant celebrates Fourth Houston Area Grand Opening

June 29, 2015 // Franchising.com // COSTA MESA, CA - El Pollo Loco (Nasdaq:LOCO), the nation’s leading fire-grilled chicken chain, today opened its newest location in Humble, TX. The new restaurant, located at 9540 FM 1960 Bypass Road West between Townsen Boulevard and Whitaker Road, is the fourth location in Houston and 13th in the state of Texas for the brand.

“We have seen great success in Houston with the three restaurants we’ve opened over the last year and we look forward to offering customers another convenient location to enjoy our signature fire-grilled chicken and Mexican-inspired entrees,” said Steve Sather, President and Chief Executive Officer of El Pollo Loco. “Our neighbors have welcomed us with open arms and we are excited to be a part of the Humble community and strengthen our presence in the greater-Houston area.”

The 2,900 square-foot Humble El Pollo Loco restaurant has seating for 72 guests in the dining room and incorporates the brand’s hacienda design which features an open kitchen layout designed for customers to view the signature chicken as it is being grilled. The restaurant is open seven days a week from 10:00AM – 11:00 PM, with dine-in service concluding one hour prior to closing.
