John Gillespie of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Naples Receives Top Industry Lighting Award

The Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP) honored John Gillespie of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Naples with Top Industry Lighting Award acknowledging outstanding outdoor lighting design for the Best Residential Lighting project.

RICHMOND, VA (PRWEB) June 30, 2015 - John Gillespie of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Naples was recently acknowledged for his outdoor lighting design excellence by the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP) at the 2015 Annual Conference & Expo in San Antonio, Texas.

John Gillespie of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Naples, was awarded the 2015 AOLP Award of Merit for Best Residential (Small) Lighting project. Mr. Gillespie was the designer who led the project is a new member of the AOLP and was honored to hear the news of receiving the award. “This is truly an honor,” stated Mr. Gillespie. “I understand it’s very rare to have this distinction as I’m a newcomer to the organization and I am honored to have been selected.”

The outdoor lighting project was for a Marco Island estate that boasts stunning views of Barfield Bay and the Preserves. John Gillespie designed and the Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Naples team installed a low voltage LED system with integrated drivers with a total wattage of 121 watts. “The estate is magnificent during the daylight hours and now in the evenings as well,” explained Mr. Gillespie.

“John is a seasoned member of our Outdoor Lighting Perspectives team,” said Kurt Shearer, the owner of the Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Naples location. “He truly is a light sculpting specialist and we’re proud he was selected for this award.”
